Michigan Craft Shows - An Introduction
When I started The Michigan Crafter Magazine in February of 1994 with my last unemployment check, 100 books and a 10 year old Dodge Omni with 120,000 miles on it, I had no idea that the Arts & Crafts Business across the state and across the country was so large. There are countless men and women ranging from young mothers who are working a few shows a year to supplement their income to professional crafters who drive across the country in large RVs and trailers full of merchandise.
Above are the sections of michigancraftshows.com for you to link to:
About is about me.
Testimonials are what vendors have to say about my publication.
2006 & 2007 Michigan Craft Shows - This is a listing by month of the Art Fairs, Craft Shows, and Events in the State of Michigan. Soon, I will also have listings for the States of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin and beyond. If your show is not listed, click on the link Submit your Event on the page of listings. I update my records as soon as time permits. For more information on the events order a copy of The 2005 Michigan Crafter Magazine or Midwestern Crafter Magazine.
The Artisans Marketplace - This section contains a directory of crafters and artists. Browse through this section and see jewelers, poetry and writings, photography, handpainted gifts, incense art, and more.
Links - This section contains the links to websites of crafters, artists, artisans and creators and also those people who service the arts and crafts business. In Other Arts & Crafts Publications there are links to companies that list craft shows, art fairs, and events in other states. In
Craft Supplies there are links to companies that sell craft supplies to Arts and Crafts Vendors. In Craft and Antique Malls there are stores that rent space to Crafters, Artists, and Artisans. These stores keep track of the vendor sales and send out checks to the vendors periodically when their merchandise is sold. In Search Engines there is a listing of some of the directories that our potential customers go on the internet to find us. In Crafters, Artists, Artisans, & Creators are the sites of people who produce the many types of handmade items and gifts. Those items include: Candles, Aromatics, Soaps, Oils, and Fragrances, Ceramics and Pottery, and Jewelry among many others.Contact: These are the various ways you can reach me.
Newsletters and Releases: Approximately once a month I e-mail a newsletter to my past, present, future customers. For ten years, staying in touch with my thousands of customers was one of my unanswered questions. I stumbled across an e-mail service during the winter of last year. In the newsletter includes the products and services I am offering to my customers, and ideas that you can possibly use to increase the cash flow into your business. My business strategy always has been the following. If I can help my customers make more money, it is much easier for them to buy my products and services.
Order the Crafter Magazines: Since February of 1994 I have published and sold The Michigan Crafter Magazine. This is the most comprehensive book on Michigan Craft Shows, Fairs, and Events you are going to find for Michigan. I started publishing Midwestern Crafter Magazine several years later. You can order either or both books by clicking on this page. You can either click on the Paypal button, call me with a credit card number, or print out the form and mail a check to the address provided.
