Jerry Coyne - Spirits of the Wood - Handcrafted Woodworking

My name is Jerry and I am a local woodworking artist. I started out in 2001 helping a friend part time with his woodworking business. After several months I discovered my artistic side and decided to branch off on my own. With the encouragement of friends and family I started Spirits of the Wood in 2002.
I make a variety of hand made products including jewelry boxes, chests and armoires, music boxes, trinket boxes, tarot card boxes, humidors and pet urns. I am also looking into expanding to include furniture of all kinds.

I use a variety of woods including Cherry, Maple, Walnut, Oak, Mahogany and Purpleheart as well as many other exotic woods from around the world. I do not ever use endangered woods. None of my pieces are dyed or stained. Each piece has either a hand rubbed oil or polyurethane finish and is lined with either faux suede or velvet.

It is my goal to keep my customers satisfied by offering top quality products at reasonable prices. If you see me at a show and can't find what you're looking for, I will work with you to custom create the perfect piece for any occasion!
