Michigan Craft Shows for June 2006 - There are so many Craft Shows, Art Fairs, Street Fairs, and events each month, it is hard to give each one justice. However, I will give you a brief rundown of places of interest. In early June, if you are a lover of Fine Art, head up to Midland to the Midland Center for the Arts. They have a wide range of media. Some of the finest artists from Michigan and around the country display their unique items there.
If you like Arts and Crafts and want to have a fun Sunday morning with your family, go to Washington's Super Sunday in Washington, Michigan. I usually start with a pancake breakfast sponsored by the Fire Department, then go to the craft show. There are children's activities there too.
I live in the Rochester, Michigan area. In the summertime you can see hot air balloons hanging in the air. If you want to have a fun day with your family watching balloons inflate and rise into the sky, visit the Howell Balloon Festival the last weekend of June. There are a large number of Arts & Crafts vendors with many unique items for sale at this event also.
